The Infinite Capacity Of A Single Living Cell
Every living thing begins with a single living cell, a dot too small to see, containing all the structures to build a body with character - male/female, tall/short, shy/aggressive, furry/scaled - with legs, nails, brain, vision, voice, and virtue - all from a speck. The river otter started from a cell similar to that of a fish, as did the bacteria, algae and crayfish in the river around them. What else do these cells have in store for us in their infinite capacity?
No other explanation has ever been given of the marvelous fact that the embryos of a man, dog, seal, bat, reptiles, etc., can at first hardly be distinguished form each other.
