Welcome to Peace Valley Nature Center

PVNC Facility Renovation

For more than 50 years, Peace Valley Nature Center has connected people with the natural world through exploration, education, and conservation. Located within Peace Valley Park in Bucks County, the Nature Center protects 750 acres of forests, wetlands, meadows, and shoreline habitat surrounding Lake Galena.

With miles of scenic trails, wildlife observation areas, and year-round educational programs, PVNC provides opportunities for visitors of all ages to experience the beauty and importance of nature.

In 2026, we proudly celebrate five decades of inspiring curiosity, stewardship, and community while looking ahead to the next fifty years.

About the Friends of Peace Valley Nature Center

The Friends of Peace Valley Nature Center (FoPVNC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, established in 1978 to enhance and support the work of Peace Valley Nature Center and the Bucks County Department of Parks and Recreation. Our mission is to enrich environmental education, supplement staffing and programming, and help preserve the integrity of Peace Valley’s outdoor classroom.

FoPVNC plays a vital role in providing the “margin of excellence” that elevates the visitor experience and deepens public engagement with the natural world.

Our work is made possible through generous community support—including donations, program fees, memberships, and proceeds from the Sunflower Shop. We are deeply grateful to the individuals and volunteers who help sustain our mission.
