Environmental Education Programs
Take your homeschool learning outdoors! Peace Valley Nature Center offers hands-on environmental education experiences that bring science to life across our 750-acre outdoor classroom. Streams, fields, forests, wetlands, thickets, and Lake Galena provide endless opportunities for children to explore, investigate, and connect with the natural world.
Homeschool Private Group Programs
Planning an educational outing for your homeschool group or co-op? Our trained Teacher Naturalists lead engaging 90-minute programs designed to complement your science curriculum through hands-on exploration and discovery.
Students explore in small groups of up to 15, allowing more opportunities to ask questions, participate in activities, and interact with both their Teacher Naturalist and the natural environment.
Choose from a variety of environmental education themes covering wildlife, habitats, ecology, seasonal change, and more.
Ready to Plan Your Visit?
Complete our Environmental Education Program Booking Inquiry Form to tell us about your group and the type of experience you’re looking for. Environmental Education Manager Jenn Bilger will follow up after your inquiry is received.
