Cancellation Policy

A full refund will be issued to any participant who cancels a minimum of 48 hours in advance, and to all participants in the event the program is cancelled by PVNC. Please make every effort to attend events you have registered for.

If you cannot attend, please contact the Nature Center so we can allow someone else to take your place.

All programs are subject to cancellation due to weather conditions, unless specified otherwise.

Our Sustainability Round Table is an informal, community-led discussion where we dive into a different sustainability topic each month. This is a space to ask questions, share ideas, and exchange resources with neighbors who care about making environmentally mindful choices. Whether you're just getting started or have experience to share, all are welcome—no expertise required!  September's topic is Conscious Consumerism: Buying Less, Buying Better

Discuss how to make mindful purchasing decisions — including choosing sustainable brands, avoiding fast fashion, and embracing minimalism.

Drop in and discover a variety of nature-themed activities the entire family will enjoy. Discovery Day is a family-friendly, free event where young explorers, ages 3 – 12, learn about magnificent migrations though self-guided activities and explorations. Children and guardians are invited go on a self-guided nature scavenger hunt using our monthly-themed check list or simply enjoy the trails. Indoor activities include stations that help you discover the wonders of animal migrations.

NATURE SKETCH GROUP

Thursday, September 18th:  11am - 12pm

Age: All Ages (minors must be accompanied by an adult)

Bring your sketch pad and favorite drawing materials. We will meet for a short drawing demonstration and then find an interesting spot around the Nature Center to independently create nature sketches. At the end of the session, we will share our sketches with the group for an informal critique. Come prepared to draw outside. All levels of experience are welcome.

We are excited to announce the 9th Annual Fall Harvest Sampler on Friday, September 26th at 7pm at the fabulous Peace Valley Nature Center! Hosted by the Friends of Peace Valley Nature Center, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, with support from the Bucks County Department of Parks and Recreation, this is our largest fundraiser of the year. Featuring live music, a silent auction, and raffles, guests will also enjoy an incredible lineup of craft beer and seasonal foods courtesy of B&B Beverages and Penn Taproom.
