Cancellation Policy
A full refund will be issued to any participant who cancels a minimum of 48 hours in advance, and to all participants in the event the program is cancelled by PVNC. Please make every effort to attend events you have registered for.
If you cannot attend, please contact the Nature Center so we can allow someone else to take your place.
All programs are subject to cancellation due to weather conditions, unless specified otherwise.
JULY
GROUNDED IN NATURE: A FOREST MINDFULNESS SERIES
Sunday, July 13th: 9am - 10:30am

This series invites participants to connect with nature through a variety of mindful practices, each session offering a unique approach to grounding oneself in the beauty and serenity of the outdoors. Together we will explore different ways to deepen our relationship with the natural world—through meditation, mindful walking, sensory exploration, and more. There will be some light yoga movement outdoors followed by a sound bath afterwards. Come prepared with your own mats, water bottles or any other props you may need. Join us to experience the calming and restorative power of the forest while cultivating a sense of inner peace and presence.

Experience the magic of twilight on our Sunset Nature Walk! Join our knowledgeable guide for a peaceful stroll through scenic trails as the sky fills with vibrant sunset colors. Discover local wildlife, plants, and listen to the sounds of nature as daytime transitions to night. Don’t miss this serene journey as the forest comes to life in the glow of the setting sun.
BAT BONANZA

Experience the magic of the park after dark on this exciting night hike as we search for bats (Chiroptera) in their natural habitat. Along the way, you’ll uncover fascinating facts about these often-misunderstood creatures and their vital role in our ecosystem. Please note, the event will be canceled in case of inclement weather.

Introduce your family to a love of nature and yoga with an energetic, themed class full of kids yoga poses, songs, games, crafts and stories. Children will come away with age-appropriate breathing and mindfulness techniques and lots of fun yoga poses to practice at home. Class is geared to ages 2-5 but siblings are welcome. Please bring a yoga mat or towel. Held outdoors in the pavilion by the Nature Center or inside the Nature Center depending on weather.

Fall Harvest Sampler

We are excited to announce the 9th Annual Fall Harvest Sampler on Friday, September 26th at 7pm at the fabulous Peace Valley Nature Center! Hosted by the Friends of Peace Valley Nature Center, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, with support from the Bucks County Department of Parks and Recreation, this is our largest fundraiser of the year. Featuring live music, a silent auction, and raffles, guests will also enjoy an incredible lineup of craft beer and seasonal foods courtesy of B&B Beverages and Penn Taproom.
