Pack your sketchbook and the drawing tools you love most. We’ll gather inside the Nature Center, where a curated still life of natural forms will inspire our work. Whether you’re just beginning or a seasoned artist, all are warmly invited to join.

Spend a relaxing morning crafting in nature. Knitting and crocheting have been shown to reduce stress and promote well-being, and enjoying these activities outdoors adds even more benefits. This welcoming group is open to all skill levels—from complete beginners to experienced crafters. Help with patterns, yarn selection, and techniques is available.

Peace Valley Nature Center is pleased to host an exhibition by the Bucks County Plein Air Painters, featuring original landscape paintings inspired by the beauty of the local countryside. The artwork will be on display in the Nature Center from May 9–28, and all pieces will be available for purchase. A portion of the proceeds from artwork sales will benefit Peace Valley Nature Center and support its environmental education programs.
Join us for an Artist’s Reception on Saturday, May 9 from 10:00 AM–1:00 PM, where visitors can meet the artists and enjoy light refreshments while viewing the collection. In addition, painters will be on hand to demonstrate plein air painting techniques from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM on May 9 and May 16, offering a unique opportunity to watch artists at work and learn more about this traditional outdoor painting style.

KIDS' ART IN NATURE EXPLORATION

Discover creativity in nature at our Kids’ Art in Nature Program! Families are invited to drop in and explore Peace Valley Nature Center while connecting with nature through a variety of hands-on art activities. Teacher Naturalist -guided stations will encourage imagination, exploration, and a deeper appreciation for the natural world.
