From moving air and flowing water to animal adaptations and plant design, each activity encourages curiosity, creativity, and “aha!” moments. Stop by, try an activity or two, ask questions, and discover how science comes alive outdoors.

Children and their guardians are welcome to embark on a self-guided nature scavenger hunt with our themed checklist or simply enjoy the trails at their own pace.

WHAT IS A WATERSHED - DROP IN AND DISCOVER

Join the Bucks County Conservation District for an engaging presentation and hands-on demonstrations that unpack how watersheds function as living systems. You’ll explore the critical environmental services watersheds provide, see how water moves across the landscape, and investigate the natural and human stressors that affect watershed health. Along the way, discover how native plants help filter pollutants, stabilize soil, absorb stormwater, and support wildlife—making them essential allies in keeping our watersheds healthy and resilient. Perfect for adults interested in science, conservation, and local water issues.
