PYSANKA WORKSHOP: UKRAINIAN EASTER EGGS

Learn how to decorate eggs with traditional Ukrainian folk designs using a wax-resist batik method. You'll create up to 3 beautiful eggs with Daria, an experienced teacher who will show you how they're made. You only need to sign up for one session. Class size limited, ages 15+.

GARLIC MUSTARD PULL

Join us for a hands-on volunteer event to help remove garlic mustard, an aggressive invasive plant that threatens native wildflowers and wildlife habitat. Your efforts will make a real difference in restoring healthy forest ecosystems at Peace Valley Nature Center. Please sign up in advance using the SignUpGenius link   so we can plan accordingly. Volunteers should bring work gloves, water, and insect repellent; we’ll provide guidance and disposal materials.

BUCKS COUNTY PLEIN AIR PAINTERS ART SHOW AND LIVE DEMONSTRATIONS

Peace Valley Nature Center is pleased to host an exhibition by the Bucks County Plein Air Painters, featuring original landscape paintings inspired by the beauty of the local countryside. The artwork will be on display in the Nature Center from May 9–28, and all pieces will be available for purchase. A portion of the proceeds from artwork sales will benefit Peace Valley Nature Center and support its environmental education programs.


Join us for an Artist’s Reception on Saturday, May 9 from 10:00 AM–1:00 PM, where visitors can meet the artists and enjoy light refreshments while viewing the collection. In addition, painters will be on hand to demonstrate plein air painting techniques from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM on May 9 and May 16, offering a unique opportunity to watch artists at work and learn more about this traditional outdoor painting style.
